Trampled Under 908
by Darin Münch
Definitely one of my more Led Zeppelin-esque ripoffs! This funk-rock thing goes for a nice fat (phat?) groove before rolling into a big minor-major chorus. A quirky midway bass duet serves as a total non-sequitur, but the funk quickly returns. Nothing outstanding here, just a nice warm groove that I had fun throwing together quite a few years ago now.
Instrumentation includes fretless bass guitar (slide & tap), live drums, and a Peavey DPM 2 clav in a big 4/4 swing-funk. Good road trip music, perhaps?
