The Piece

This funny, funky, epic, multi-movement groove was supposed to be a collaborative project with an L.A. family friend, but it quickly devolved into an inside joke. Sequenced in 2002 in a Puget Sound island house, this lengthy piece cracked us up as we added elf sounds and rap samples atop the beat. This is mostly a nostalgic thing, but it still sorta holds its own as a groove!

Instrumentation includes Roland electric keyboard synth bass, sequenced drums, and comical samples in a medium-paced 4/4 tech funk. Funny and groovy, this might work in a humorous adult film!
