Grandfather Clock

Here's a somber little A-minor string duet. I came up with this melancholy piece on a whim after hearing the Philip Glass score for Fog of War. A lonely grandfather clock ticks away while a cello and violin exchange tuneful laments.

Features solo cello and violin over a distant, repeating grandfather clock sample. The ticking is reminiscent of a metronome tinged with despair! This one would be great in a sad animation or as backing music for a heart-rending story or biography.
