A Strange Funk

I'm pretty sure I was going for a Bootsy / Funkadelic vibe here, but it's been so long I really can't remember! This moody, quirky, offbeat, minor-key bass funk fragment features a Peavey DPM clav, live drums, and tapped fretless bass in a very slow, dirty 4/4 groove. This seemed like a nice idea a decade ago, but I didn't take it anywhere!
Instrumentation includes synth clav, fretless bass guitar, live drums, and a touch of airy reverb. This one has an eerie, dark atmosphere with a touch of bouncy funk. Might work as a gritty hip-hop loop?
